Welcome! I am Marguerite Reese, a dedicated licensed mental health therapist and life coach, with over 18 years specializing in anxiety and relationship therapy. I am here to support you on your journey towards healing, growth, and transformation. I completed my undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University, masters degree at George Washington University and my life coaching degree at the Institute for Professional Empowerment Coaching.
I have been in private practice for 10 years and have helped 100s of people create the life they want to live. As someone who suffered with anxiety issues throughout her life, I have made it my mission to tackle anxiety and break free of it. It's why being a therapist is so important to me. I know starting therapy can be a difficult decision, so please reach out with any questions. I want to make this process as easy as possible.
My therapy and coaching style is rooted in empathy, respect, and collaboration. I believe that each individual is unique, and I tailor my therapeutic interventions to meet your specific needs and goals. I want to learn about you and what bought you to therapy so I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and solution-focused therapy, to provide you with a comprehensive and personalized treatment plan.
If you're ready to tackle your work on your relationship, decrease your anxiety, and / or increase your self-esteem, I want you to reach out and schedule a session. Together, we will navigate the path towards a brighter and more fulfilling future. Remember, you don't have to face your challenges alone – I am here to guide and support you every step of the way.

Use of Diagnosis
Some health insurance companies will reimburse clients for counseling services and some will not. In addition, most will require that a diagnosis of a mental-health condition and indicate that you must have an “illness” before they will agree to reimburse you. Some conditions for which people seek counseling do not qualify for reimbursement. If a qualifying diagnosis is appropriate in your case, I will inform you of the diagnosis before we submit the diagnosis to the health insurance company. Any diagnosis made will become part of your permanent insurance records.
